Merchants' Application

Vendor Checklist

Must list Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce (SBCOC) and the City of Solana Beach as additional insured. Email to: fiesta@chambersb.com

Include images of your products and booth setup. New vendors: email to fiesta@chambersb.com


APPLICATION & REQUIRED DOCUMENTS Complete the online application with:

  • Certificate of $1,000,000 general liability insurance
  • Seller's permit
  • Health permit (if selling consumables)
  • 3 photos of products (new merchants only)

BOOTH REQUIREMENTS

  • Space: 10' × 10' assigned location
  • Hours: 9:00am–6:00pm both days (must be manned or $250 fee charged)
  • You provide: Fire-retardant canopy, three sidewalls, all display materials
  • Restrictions: No open flames, tablecloths minimum 6" off ground, no electricity unless requested/paid

HANDCRAFT DISCOUNT ELIGIBILITY To qualify for arts/crafts discounted pricing, ALL of the following must be met:

  • 100% of products sold are personally handcrafted by the booth merchant/artist
  • The artist who made the products must be present in the booth 9:00am–6:00pm both days
  • Submit photo of booth artist making merchandise with your application
  • If the artist is not present during festival hours, you will be charged the difference between handcrafted and regular booth pricing

QUALITY OF PRODUCTS SBCOC reserves the right to reject any merchant application that does not meet quality or design standards. Fiesta del Sol aims to create an exhibition acceptable to the general public. Booths or products that do not match submitted photos may be removed without refund.

SETUP & BREAKDOWN

  • Vehicle drop-off during assigned time only
  • All vehicles out by 8:30am Saturday, may return 8:00pm Sunday
  • Remove all debris or pay $50 cleaning fee
  • Parking passes and directions in merchant packet

PARKING

  • Use designated parking areas only (directions in merchant packet)
  • Do NOT park on residential streets (subject to towing)

REFUNDS

  • Booth spaces are non-refundable
  • SBCOC does not guarantee retail sales, weather, or attendance
  • If you cancel, SBCOC will attempt to resell your space
  • Refunds, if space is resold, are at the sole discretion of SBCOC

POLICIES

  • Return merchants: previous location not guaranteed

PROHIBITED: Alcohol (except designated areas), drugs, smoking, drug paraphernalia, and illegal items. The City of Solana Beach has a ban on plastic bags and styrofoam containers.
