The Fiesta del Sol is presented by the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Belly Up and the City of Solana Beach.
The Fiesta del Sol takes place adjacent to Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach, California within the area bordered by South Sierra Avenue and Acacia Avenue. See the interactive map on the right for directions.
The Fiesta del Sol opens each morning at 9am with the arts & crafts fair and will close at 10pm on Saturday and 8pm on Sunday after the conclusion of the last musical performance.
The Fiesta del Sol is a FREE event.
Attendees are encouraged to come to Fiesta del Sol by train (Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Coaster), bicycle (Bike Parking will be located in the Dirty Dogs Parking Lot close to HWY 101. Volunteers will be available to assist. Be sure to bring your bike lock, bike racks will be available. Solana Beach Chamber, City of Solana Beach staff or volunteers will not be responsible for any bikes left behind, lost or stolen), walking, Bus (Bus Stop is adjacent to Fiesta del Sol Entrance) or by carpool. Plus a variety of designated parking areas with Shuttle Buses will be readily available to take you to the Fiesta. Parking Map Ride Share pick-up and drop-off location will be at the Solana Beach Post Office – 153 S. Sierra Ave. Solana Beach, CA 92075
The Fiesta del Sol rocks Solana Beach with a diverse musical showcase providing continuous live music. The lineup is rich with rock, reggae, soul, funk, jazz, blues, Latin and worldbeat, to name a few, spanning cultures and countries from Africa to Brazil to the USA.
The Fiesta del Sol showcases an eclectic array of arts and crafts exhibits. Original paintings, locally handcrafted jewelry, pottery, clothing, one-of-a-kind items, etc.
The Fiesta del Sol features a special area just for kids with games and hands-on activities. Bounce houses, arts & crafts and other fun activities are designed especially for children. The main stage showcases children’s dance groups, musicians and martial arts exhibitions.
This year we will have Gourmet Food Trucks offering too many choices to list. Along with several food booths offering one-of-a-kind foods, sweets, coffee and much, much more!
Check out the NEW Water Refill Station at Fletcher Cove. So be sure to bring your refillable water bottle or purchase one from the Solana Beach Chamber booth. Water in plastic bottles will not be sold at the event.

Free parking with FREE SHUTTLE service is always available from 8AM till 11PM on Saturday and 9Pm on Sunday- Follow our parking signs down Lomas Santa Fe to our free shuttle parking lot. Also, hundreds of free parking spaces in lots along Highway 101 and South Sierra Avenue are available. PLEASE do NOT park on Cedros Avenue. We respect our local businesses who will remain open during Fiesta del Sol and it is important to allow parking for their customers who are conducting business during Fiesta del Sol.
